Boniface Mwangi

Boniface Mwangi was born on July 10, 1983, in Taveta, Kenya, near the Tanzanian border. He grew up in challenging circumstances, living with his grandparents and later moving with his mother to Nairobi’s low-income neighborhoods. Mwangi faced disruptions in his education, attending multiple schools and approved institutions, and was expelled from Kabete approved school in 1998. He later completed his secondary education as a private candidate in 2016. He holds diplomas in Bible studies and print journalism, and studied human rights and documentary photography at New York University
