Jeremiah Ekamais Lomorukai

Jeremiah Ekamais Lomorukai is a Kenyan politician currently serving as the Governor of Turkana County, having been elected in 2022 on the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) ticket. Born in 1976 in Turkana, he rose through local governance structures before entering national politics. His career began as a clerical officer at the National Registration Bureau in the 1990s, later becoming a councillor in the Turkana County Council, then a Member of County Assembly, and eventually the Member of Parliament for Loima Constituency from 2017 to 2022.
