Lee Kinyanjui

Lee Maiyani Kinyanjui is a prominent Kenyan politician currently serving as the Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Investments, Trade and Industry (MITI), having assumed office in January 2025. He is widely recognized for his tenure as the second Governor of Nakuru County from 2017 to 2022, during which he successfully championed the elevation of Nakuru Municipality to city status. An alumnus of Kenyatta University and the University of Nairobi, Kinyanjui has a long-standing career in public service. His prior leadership positions include serving as the Member of Parliament for Nakuru Town, Assistant Minister for Roads, and Chairperson of the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA).
